Biography

During the 1960s Juan Carlos Frecia represented the Argentine national sabre fencing team. In 1964 Frecia competed in both the individual and team events at the Tokyo Olympics, but only won one individual bout, defeating Ralph Cooperman (GBR) 5–3 in the final bout in the pool. Four years later at the Mexico City Olympics he did not improve on his previous performance, losing all six bouts to be eliminated.
