Biography

Josef Kunt began fencing in in 1927 and became proficient in all three weapons: epee, foil, and sabre. He represented Czechoslovakia in five World Championships. At the 1936 Olympics, he defeated all four Hungarian fencers in the men’s epee team competition which helped the Czech team eliminate the Hungarian team in the first round.
