Biography

Gottfried Hermann was an Austrian gymnast who participated at the 1936 Berlin Olympics where he finished 50th in the individual all-around, and 11th in the team competition. He advanced to just one of the apparatus finals. Hermann qualified for the 1935 Linz Austrian Gymnastics Association Games. Hermann returned to the Olympics at London in 1948 when he finished ninth with the team and 114th in the individual all-around. He did not advance to any of the apparatus finals.
