Biography

Bob Foth shot rifle at the 1988 and 1992 Olympics, winning a silver medal in 1992 in small-bore 3 positions. Foth was an alternate in air rifle for the USA at the 1996 Olympics. Foth also competed several times at the World Championships. In the 1990s he began coaching sport shooting. In 2006 Foth was named to the USA Shooting staff as youth programs and coach development manager. In 2009 he was Paralympic coach and manager for US Shooting. In that position, he worked with both the National Rifle Association and the US Army Marksmanship Unit, helping with their programs for disabled shooters, and helping find possible shooters for Paralympic international competition.
