Biography

Carla Sacramento was a Portugese middle-distance runner who competed at four Olympic Games from 1992-2004. Sacramento was World Champion in the 1,500 metres in 1997, adding a bronze medal in that event in 1995. She was also a silver medalist at the 1993 World Indoor Championships.

Personal Bests: 800 – 1:58.54 (1997); 1500 – 3:57.71 (1998); Mile – 4:23.00i (2002).
