Biography

Karel Kněnický was a Czechoslovak track and field athlete who represented VS Praha. As a sprinter Kněnický ran in the 100, 200, and 4 × 400 metres relay at the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics, reaching the quarter-finals in the 200 metres. At the 1936 Berlin Olympics he ran in the 400 metres and the 4 × 400 metres relay, reaching the quarter-finals in the former.

Personal Bests: 100 – 10.8d (1928); 200 – 22.0 (1935); 400 – 49.1 (1934).
