Biography

An All-American in track and field at high school, Bochette became captain of the track team at the University of Florida. He represented Puerto Rico internationally in the decathlon, and set a national record in 1988. In that same year, he was an official at the 1988 Winter Olympics, only competing himself four years later, in the bobsled. Bochette, who is an accomplished painter, has been involved in the foundation of various Puerto Rican sports federations.
