Moise Crăciun, the winner of nine-time Romanian championship titles, was a member of the Romanian ski team at the 1952 Oslo Olympics, competing in the 4 × 10 kilometres relay and 18 kilometres event. He was the younger brother of cross-country skier and nordic combined compeitor Cornel Crăciun. Crăciun was later a ski coach in the 1960s and 1970s for Steagul Roşu Braşov, and was given the title master of sports. His son, also named Cornel Crăciun, competed in youth championships in the early 1970s.
