Biography

Scott Goldblatt was a freestyle swimmer who won a gold medal in the 4x200 freestyle relay at the 2004 Athina Olympics and a silver medal in the same event at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.

At the World Championships Goldblatt won a bronze medal in 2001 and a silver in 2003, both in the 4x2 free relay. He competed at the 1997 World University Games, winning gold in the 4x200 free relay and silver in the 200 freestyle. At the 2005 Maccabiah Games, he won gold medals in the 4x100 free relay and the 4x200 free relay, a silver medal in the 200 freestyle, and a bronze medal in the 100 free.

Goldblatt attended the University of Texas, graduating with a degree in sports management. In 2000 he helped Texas win the NCAA team title, was a member of winning relay teams for three consecutive years, and was named an All-American in four events.
