Dates 9 – 22 February 1992
Medal Events 10

The program was unchanged from 1988, with five events for men and women, the downhill, super-G, giant slalom, slalom, and combined. The men’s speed events were held in Val d’Isère, the hometown of Jean-Claude Killy, 1968 triple Alpine gold medalist and the co-chairman of the Organizing Committee in Albertville, which titles itself “The Most Beautiful Ski Area in the World.” The men’s slalom was held at Les Menuires, a ski resort in the Belleville valley of Les Trois Vallées in the Savoie Alps. All of the women’s events were set up at Méribel, a ski resort in the Savoie Alps, which is part of the Trois Vallées ski area, near the town of Moutiers.
