Description
Mixed sports refers to some team events recently contested at various Youth Olympics (2018) and Youth Winter Olympics (2012, 2016, and 2020). These have been relays or team events, often with both genders competing. Combinations have included snowboarding and freestyle skiing, biathlon and cross-country skiing, cross-country/ski jumping/Nordic combined, and various mixtures of gymnastics disciplines. Mixed sports competitions have not yet been on the Olympic or Winter Olympic Programme.
