Biography

Michael Uhrmann was a policeman with the German Police. In his ski jumping career he earned a team gold at the 2002 and a silver medal at the 2010 Winter Olympics and at the 2001 World Championships in the large hill team competition, a bronze in the normal hill team competition, and a silver four years later.

He also won a team bronze at the 2006 Ski Flying World Championships. His medal collection also included three golds at the Youth Ski Jumping World Championships in 1995 and 1996 and three German Championships. Uhrmann later turned to coaching.
