Biography

Aika Klein was a prominent short tracker in Germany and participated in three consecutive Olympic Winter Games from 2002 at Salt Lake City to 2010 at Vancouver. At the 2010 European Championships she won a relay gold medal and won one more silver (2009) and three bronzes (2004-05, 2008), all in relay events. In 2004, Klein added another bronze in the individual 3,000 metres event. She later studied economic sciences.
