Ann Marsh competed in foil fencing at three Olympics – 1992-2000 – competing individually in 1996-2000 and with the team at all three Olympics. Her best international result was a bronze in team foil at the 2001 World Championships. At the Pan American Games Marsh won a team foil gold medal in 1991 and in 1995 won a foil gold, and a team foil silver. She was an eight-time national champion in team foil, and won the individual US title in 1994-95. Marsh was ranked in the world top 10 from 1993-97. She competed in 10 World Cups, winning three bronze medals.
Ann Marsh later attended medical school at the University of Rochester and then did a residency in emergency medicine at Buffalo General Hospital. She then practiced emergency medicine in Michigan.
