Oscar Cervo had the following podium finishes at major championships: 1st in the 1951 Pan American Games 25 m rapid fire pistol team (with with Carlos Enrique Díaz Sáenz Valiente, Dionisio Fernández, and the non-Olympian Ernesto Guillón), 2nd in the 1955 Pan American Games 25 m rapid fire pistol team (with Carlos Enrique Díaz Sáenz Valiente, Dionisio Fernández, and the non-Olympian Enrique Schack), 2nd in the 1959 Pan American Games 25 m centre fire pistol, 2nd in the 1963 Pan American Games 25 m rapid fire pistol team (with Manuel José Fernández, Nelson Torno, and the non-Olympian José Schaffer), 3rd in the 1951 Pan American Games 25 m rapid fire pistol, 3rd in the 1959 Pan American Games 25 m rapid fire pistol team (with Nelson Torno and the non-Olympians Enrique Schack and José Schaffer).
