Biography

Terence Pitt was a track and field athlete who represented India at the 1924 Paris Olympics. Pitt specialised as a sprinter and ran in the 100, 200, and 400 metres in Paris. His best result came in the 400 metres where he advanced to the quarter-finals. Pitt was also scheduled to run in the 4 × 100 metres and the 4 × 400 metres relay races but did not start in either. He died in Thurrock, England, in 1957.
