Biography

Stephen Netburn graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 1965, after transferring from New York University. He placed second in épée at the International Fencing Association Championships and at the NCAA Meet in 1964-65. He was US Champion with épée in 1969 and competed on seven national champion teams. In 1971 Netburn won gold medals in both individual and team épée at the Pan American Games. He also lettered in tennis at Penn in 1964. Netburn worked as a banker.
