Little is known of the details of this event which was won by Greece’s Georgios Orfanidis. Orfanidis also competed at the 1896 Olympics, where he won a gold and silver medal, and the 1908 Olympics, where he failed to win a medal. Second-placed Jean Fouconnier (FRA) competed in 12 shooting events in Athina, winning one medal of each color.
