Biography

Fritz Jack, German épée champion in 1913 and 1920, participated in three Olympic Games – 1908 in London, 1912 in Stockholm and 1928 in Amsterdam. In London, he had limited success with the individual épée and the individual sabre, and also competed with the German sabre team. In Stockholm he qualified for the semifinals with the German sabre team and in 1928 he was a German fencing delegation member and participated in both épée events, individually and with the team. In 1936 he returned to the Olympics as an international fencing referee.
