His medal performances span a decade, first medalling at the 1997 European Championships, while winning three medals at the 2008 World Short-Course Championships. In all, Rosolino won 60 medals in international and continental championships, with four Olympic medals, five World Championship medals, 10 World Short-Course Championships medals (1 title in 2006), 21 European Championship medals (7 titles) and 20 European Short-Course medals (7 titles). Rosolino also sports 41 gold medals from Italian Championships between 1995 and 2009, including 13 titles in the 200 m medley. In private life, Rosolino was previously romantically involved with Roberta Capua, Miss Italy of 1986, and second in the 1987 Miss Universe Pageant, but currently has a daughter with dancer Natalia Titova, known for her appearances in the Italian edition of Dancing with the Stars.
